The IPAGMC Club Members Draw took place today 15/5/2022 at Carroll's Hotel in Knocktopher, Co Kilkenny during a Club Rideout. Prize was a paid 3 Night B&B and Banquet meal in Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney for 28/29/30 June 2022 during the Blue Nights Convention with admission 'wrist bands' to all BK events. 17 Bikes and 20 persons attended.
The Rally commenced at J17 The Plaza in Portlaoise with attendees from Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Dublin. The route took us through Stradbally, Carlow, Leighlinbridge, Bagenalstown and on to Borris where a short rest stop revived some tired joints! Onwards to Graiguenamanagh, Thomastown, via Jerpoint Abbey and finally lunch in Carroll's Hotel, Knocktopher, Co Kilkenny. After a hearty lunch, in the lovely outdoor dining area, some of our group departed homeward and the rest returned to Portlaoise via Kilkenny, Ballyraggett, Durrow and Abbeyleix.
Club Friend - Bernie Cunningham Cashman drew the first ticket - Frank Togher. Congratulations Frank. Mary Saunders - Club Friend - drew the 1st Reserve ticket - Conor Courtney and Kathy Ward - Club Friend drew the 2nd reserve ticket - Mary O'Dwyer - as the committee agreed beforehand should any of their names be drawn then they would request another name be drawn. Therefore - Sean Fitzgerald is the 2nd Reserve should the winner not be available to attend.
